Northern Colorado's KMAX-FM to Flip to 'Loudwire' Rock

Townsquare Media Classic Hits "Max-FM 94.3" KMAX-FM, Wellington-Fort Collins, Colorado, will flip to Rock as "94.3 Loudwire" using the branding of Townsquare's Loudwire.com online service. "Northern Colorado has been longing for a station delivering this type of content, focusing specifically on the communities of Fort Collins, Loveland and Greeley, playing the best current rock music," says Townsquare Media Northern Colorado Operations Manager George King. He also tells us that the new Rock station will air the syndicated "Free Beer & Hot Wings" morning show from 5-10am weekdays.
