Tucson's Alternative KFMA-FM Promotes 'Chris the Ego' to Program Director. He's been the Assistant PD, Music Director and afternoon host.   Chris the Ego, who has been with KFMA-FM parent company Arizona Lotus Corp. for eleven years,  replaces Matt Spry as KFMA-FM Program Director.  Says General Manager Steve Groesbeck, ."We are thrilled about Chris' promotion to Program Director, with his great knowledge of music we are excited to see where he will take KFMA."  .....  Program Director John "JT" Thomas exits Country KYGO-FM, Denver, after two years.   Afternoon host Keola is named interim PD.   .....   Radio One's Rhythmic Oldies "Mojo 100.3" WMOJ-FM, Cincinnati, will flip to CBS Sports Radio, January 2.  The station ends its Rhythmic Oldies format now, switching to All Christmas music through the end of the year.  Then on January 2,  WMOJ-FM  will become the Cincinnati affiliate of the new CBS Sports Radio network.   .....    'Hot 103.9' Launches In Lynchburg. Lynchburg Radio Group launches Urban AC "Hot 103.9" on WXCF-FM, Big Island, Virginia, serving the Lynchburg area. WXCF-FM dropped its simulcast of sister Hot AC "93.7 KHF" WKHF-FM, Lynchburg, to launch the new format, billing itself as "Central Virginia’s Home for R&B from 90s, 2K, and Today."
