Clear Channel Media and Entertainment announces that "its popular iHeartRadio digital radio service has been downloaded more than 135 million times." A news release tells us, "iHeartRadio continues to provide yet another platform for Clear Channel listeners to access their favorite radio stations, Custom Stations and non-audio content all in one service. The entire iHeartRadio network, with its more than 48 million monthly digital uniques, continues bring incremental listening to Clear Channel’s 239 million monthly listeners." Says Clear Channel, "In addition, iHeartRadio's registered users continue to rapidly grow faster than all other popular entertainment platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Pandora, Spotify and Instagram. Since its launch 13 months ago at the inaugural iHeartRadio Music Festival, iHeartRadio has exceeded more than 20 million registered users. Registered users are only a percentage of iHeartRadio's overall listeners, since registration is only required for the Custom Station feature which launched in September 2011."
