Philadelphia's 'Q102' Revamps Lineup

Maxwell to Move to Afternoons, Prolifik Joins for Nights

Clear Channel CHR-Top40 "Q102" WIOQ-FM, Philadelphia, is set to begin a revamped programming lineup January 2 that will see Chris "Maxwell" Jones (pictured) moving to the 3-7pm shift, and Michael "Prolifik" Garofalo joining for 7pm-midnight. Maxwell, who currently host evenings, replaces Tim "Romeo" Herbster who was named VP of Special Programming Projects for Clear Channel Media and Entertainment with a move to New York City. Says Maxwell, "I couldn't be more excited to take what former Program Director, Tim Herbster, taught me and apply it to afternoons. It means the world to me to take on such a legendary role at Q102." Prolifik joins "Q102" from co-owned "Kiss 95.7" WKSS-FM, Hartford. He will still air on that station, as well as WMKS-FM, Greensboro, when he moves to Philly. "Prolifik is a rare breed and I'm excited for him to bring his unique on-air style to Q102," says Program Director Stan Priest. "His brand of on-air delivery caters to the very active female audience and will be an entertaining addition for our evening listeners." Says Prolifik, "Q102 is a dream gig for me. I'm thrilled work under the coaching and guidance of Stan Priest and Brian Check. I'm excited to connect with listeners in Philadelphia every weekday evening while staying in touch with listeners in Hartford and Greensboro."
