Joe Breezy Joins Boston's '103.3 Amp Radio' as Music Director and Afternoon Host

Joe Breezy is named Music Director and afternoon host (2-7pm) at new CBS Radio CHR-Top40 "103.3 Amp Radio" WODS-FM. Program Director Dan Mason Jr. tells us that Breezy starts Thursday (Dec.13). Most recently, Breezy was APD, Music Director and afternoon host at "Wild 105.7 and 96.7" WWVA-FM, Atlanta. Previous stops included Phoenix and Sacramento. Says Mason, "Having worked together in Sacramento, I know first-hand what a unique on-air talent Joe is and what an asset his programming experience will be to 103.3 Amp Radio. As a new brand in a competitive market, we are bolstering 103.3 Amp Radio's staff of passionate, creative people who are ready to make noise and win. So when Joe became available, this was a no brainer." Breezy tells us, "I am thrilled for the opportunity to work with Dan again, who is one of the most strategic thinkers I know. I couldn't be more ecstatic to join the team and help build a new winning brand for CBS Radio, especially in a dynamic city like Boston." Breezy was at Atlanta's WWVA-FM for three years. Before that, he was morning host at "101.5 Jamz" KZON-FM, Phoenix, preceded by night host at "107.9 The End" KDND-FM, Sacramento, as well as night host at "Wild 94.9" KYLD-FM, San Francisco. Breezy began his radio career at KYLD-FM with a promotions internship in high school which he describes as the "coolest thing ever to an 18 year-old at the time." Since then, Breezy has nearly fifteen years of on-air, programming, and promotions experience.
