Clear Channel San Antonio Names Nic Merenda VP of Sales

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment San Antonio names Nic Merenda as Vice President of Sales, effective immediately. Merenda will be responsible for advertising, brand partnerships and sales operations for Clear Channel San Antonio's seven station cluster. "Nic's high level of persistence and results oriented approach will be key drivers in continuing Clear Channel San Antonio's success," says CCME EVP of Operations for Major Markets West Hartley Adkins, "We are looking forward to his leadership and contribution to the Sales team." Merenda has more than 20 years of sales experience and has spent the last 10 years working in radio sales. His past experience includes sales roles in the grocery, convenience, mass merchandise and liquor retail space as well as concert sponsorship sales, sponsorship execution, and event production sales. He has also held a variety of radio sales positions with companies including Citadel Broadcasting, CBS Radio and Emmis Communications. Merenda joins Clear Channel San Antonio from Entercom Communications in Kansas City, where he served as General Sales Manager since 2009.
