Clear Channel Los Angeles programmers John Ivey and Julie Pilat announce they are relinquishing their PD duties for Urban AC "Hot 92.3" KHHT-FM and Alternative "98.7 FM" KYSR-FM, respectively, to focus on their national duties for the company, as well as CHR-Top40 KIIS-FM, Los Angeles. Ivey remains SVP of CHR Programing and Talent Development for Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, as well as Program Director of KIIS-FM. Pilat is Alternative Rock Brand Coordinator for CCME and KIIS-FM APD and Music Director. CCME Los Angeles Operations Manager Andrew Jeffries says, "As many of you already know, John Ivey and Julie Pilat have taken on roles within CCME that expand their responsibilities beyond our market, building new endeavors with our national programming team. John will now solely focus on his role as SVP of CHR Programming and talent development as well as his critical role of Program Director for KIIS-FM. In addition, Julie will now solely focus on her role as Alternative Rock Brand Coordinator and APD/MD of KIIS-FM. I am thrilled to see two of our core team members grow within the company and gain recognition for their great programming talents." Says Ivey, "I've had the pleasure of programming Hot 92.3 anchored by the Hall of Famer, Art Laboe, for four years. I’m excited for the station to have someone to completely focus on programming, ratings and leading its talented staff." CCME will begin seeking new PDs for KHHT-FM and KYSR-FM.
