Artie Lange confirms that Nick DiPaolo is leaving as co-host of "The Nick and Artie" show to "pursue some great opportunities." Lange posted the official announcement to the "Nick and Artie" Facebook page after hinting earlier that "some changes" would be coming to the show when it returns January 14. Before the confirmation there was increasing speculation that DiPaolo would exit, leaving Lange to do the show solo. "You guys have been great detectives on trying to figure out what the new situation will be starting on Monday," wrote Lange. "Nick is pursuing some great opportunities and we are excited to announce the NEW Artie Lange Show." Lange and DiPaolo teamed up for the late night sports/comedy talk show towards the end of the summer in 2011. It was Lange's first regular on-air venture after going into seclusion for 18 months following his January 2010 suicide attempt by stabbing. The revamped syndicated radio show will be Lange's first solo radio gig. He previously was a regular on Howard Stern's show from 2001-2009. "The Nick and Artie" show has been airing on a number of over-the-air stations, and on SiriusXM which added it almost a year after the late night show first started. It is produced by DirecTV and syndicated by Premiere Networks.
