Behind the Microphone: The Ins and Outs of Radio Alternative "98-7fm" KYSR-FM, Los Angeles, tell us they've added former "107.7 The End" KNDD-FM, Seattle, on-air host Jordan Silver and sister Hot AC "104.3 MYfm" KBIG-FM morning show producer Dylan Riggs for part-time on-air at KYSR-FM. Additionally, they announce a new Sunday night lineup with four specialty shows under the banner ""98-7's Alternative Sunday Nights" which starts June 16 ... Empire Broadcasting flips Oldies WPTR-AM, Schnectady, NY, to Sports Talk airing the CBS Sports Radio network ... Hot AC "Star 94" WSTR-FM, Atlanta, afternoon host Chase Daniels resigns after four years to seek a new opportunity. Meanwhile "Star 94" is now seeking his replacement ... Brian Hatfield, who just recently joined Cox Media Group’s Country KCYY-FM, San Antonio, as afternoon host, adds Assistant PD and Music Director ... "SportsRadio 790" WKRD-AM, Louisville names Jody Demling the new "Early Birds" host of the 7-10am show. Demling, a well known sports reporter, is a past Kentucky Sportswriter of the Year award winner ... Sandusky Radio Seattle hires Carey Edwards as Production Director for "Warm 106.9" KRWM-FM, starting Monday (June 10). For Edwards this is a return to Seattle and to "Warm" -- where during the holiday season, he handled part-time on-air and utility duties.
